is a torch raised high. The word, FAITH, is stamped
into the torch itself. Appearing within the flames of
the fire is the word, LIFE.The image of the torch is a beacon to lead us forward. The torch is a symbol that for centuries has represented truth, divinity, liberty, freedom, justice, inspiration, enlightenment, leadership, and dedication to progress --- and, yes, faith also. Faith is not simply believing something for which you have no proof. I believe that faith is actually the energy of life itself. Real faith is alive. Real faith shines forth in living. Faith in Christ's message of love and oneness with God and with all other people is real only if it is exemplified in the actions of the person. Merely giving mental assent to a religious creed is not having faith. Action is the key to faith. Action is the way that faith is demonstrated. Is your faith alive and showing the way for others?
